The Chairman of the National Craft Council, Mr. Sampath Erahapola, recently visited Neelawala village which is a traditional jewelery manufacturing village in the Kandy district.

The chairman engaged in a friendly conversation with the artisans of the village and discussed their problems and gave advice on improving the quality of designs and increasing sales.
